1Creative Point of View

Here's a bit of information that will hopefully be helpful to those of you who are new to the world of music production.  It seems like most companies, these days, are centered on finding ways to speed up every process imaginable. Sure this is great for somethings, but it's bad for music production.  Let's be clear, it's not to say that using technology to expedite music production is a bad thing. It's more about production methods and the approach from a psychological standpoint. When creating music it’s really best to take an organic approach. Meaning, don’t use an assembly line method of producing that simply spits out music. Instead take time to build your composition. Define the musical direction so that it leaves an impression on the listener. Beware of over-the-top transitions and use of instruments that don't compliment your song. Make sure your music is memorable. Simply put, your song should feel like a journey, no matter how short it may be.
